Releasing the parking brake manually
NOTE
When the truck is ready for operation, the
electric parking brake can be released at any
time by pressing the button.
– Sit down on the driver's seat.
– Press the push button (1).
You will hear the parking brake being released
and the LED (2) goes out.
NOTE
Release of the electric parking brake by
starting to drive is only available if the electric
parking brake is applied automatically by the
driver taking his foot off the accelerator pedal
or vacating the driver's seat.

Functions when the truck is moving
Actuation by the driver
– Press the push button (1).
The truck is braked moderately. Depending
on the situation, driving is possible again after
the button has been released. If the truck is
at a standstill, you will hear the parking brake
engage and the LED (2) illuminates with a
steady light.
Actuation triggered automatically
Cause Effect
When the driver leaves the driver's seat:
After a short wait, the truck rolls to a stop or
decelerates moderately. If the truck is at a
standstill, the parking brake audibly engages
and the LED (2) illuminates with a steady light.
When the key switch is turned off:
The truck will roll to a stop. If the truck is at
a standstill, you will hear the parking brake
engage and the LED (2) illuminates with a
steady light until the control units switch off.
