Actuating the parking brake

parked on a slope.

In emergencies, secure the truck us-

ing wedges on the side facing down-

hill.

Do not leave the industrial truck until

the parking brake has been applied.

NOTE

The electric parking brake can be activated

or released only if the battery male connec-

tor has been connected

and the key switch

is switched on. When the industrial truck is

switched off, the parking brake is applied and

the industrial truck is braked.

This industrial truck is equipped with an elec-

tric parking brake. It is not necessary to apply

the parking brake manually when the driver

leaves the industrial truck. The parking brake

is applied automatically.
Despite these automatic aids, it is always

the driver's responsibility to park the industri-

al truck safely. The safety information about

parking the industrial truck safely is applicable.
If the parking brake is applied, this is indicated

by a symbol in the display-operating unit in

place of the driving speed.
