Commissioning

CAUTION

Do not clamp or crush battery cables.

Battery replacement

The battery rests on roller channels as stan-

dard and can be installed and removed from

the side using a crane or a suitable truck.
The battery can optionally be replaced using

an optional battery change frame. Read the

information in the corresponding operating

instructions for the change frame.

NOTE

If your truck is equipped with roller channels,

the battery is secured with a battery lock.

Please also read the information about the

battery lock.

Before each shift, check that the battery lock is in

perfect condition and functions correctly.

Releasing the battery lock, as described below,

must only be carried out on level ground using

suitable devices.
Suitable devices include

– A mobile or stationary battery change frame
– A suitable forklift truck with sufﬁcient load-

bearing capacity.

Risk of injury from crushing and shear points
Always actuate the swing bolts with just one hand
