Transporting and loading

Transporting

The trucks described here are usually deliv-

ered assembled. Once the battery has been

inserted, the trucks are ready for operation.

NOTE

The FSX trucks cannot be steered if the bat-

tery has not been inserted. The electromagne-

tic brake cannot be released. See the chapter

entitled "Emergency operation"

Wedging, lashing

To transport the truck safely on a lorry or in a

wagon, it must be wedged (1). Tension belts

(2) or wires must also be attached.
Secure the undercarriage with 2 wedges

on each side to prevent rolling and position

wooden blocks at the sides to prevent slipping.
