Special equipment

Battery on roller tracks

Description

The battery rests on roller channels and can

be installed and removed from the side of

the truck using a battery change frame*. The

battery is secured with clamping devices on

both sides and locked in position in this way.
Monitoring
The battery locks are monitored by electrical

means. If one of the latches does not lock

correctly, an error message appears in the

display and the industrial truck does not work.

WARNING

Before starting each shift, check that the battery

locks are in good working order and that they are

functioning correctly.

* Option

Removing the battery lock

– Loosen both knurled-head screws (1).
– Grasp the latch (2) by the handle. Press

towards the battery slightly. Then remove it

upwards in a turning movement.

Installing the battery lock

To install, simply follow the removal steps in

the reverse order.
