Full Harness*

Put on the full harness (

With the power scythe attached,
adjust length of strap until the spring
hook (

) is at the same height as
your right hip.

The angle of the cutter bar relative to the
shaft can be adjusted to 8 positions
between 0° (straight) and 90° (right
angle).
The additional settings increase the
versatility of the unit.
Adjusting cutter bar angle
:
Shut off the engine.
:
Pull back the sliding sleeve
(1)
and
use lever
(2)
to adjust joint by one or
several holes.
:
Release the sliding sleeve and
allow pin to engage the quadrant
(3)
.
Sliding sleeve butts against the
housing when the pin is properly
engaged (after making adjustment).
Starting the Engine
Always follow the starting procedure
outlined in the instruction manual of the
basic power tool or CombiEngine you
are using.

Place the unit on the ground: It must
rest securely on the machine
support and the blade gearbox.
:
On units with an adjustable cutter
bar: Set the cutter bar to the straight
(0°) position.
