Series 4137 Components - HT

Pull out the vent hose (1) with
grommet (2) and fuel hose (3)
with grommet (4).

Install in the reverse sequence.

– Remove the gearbox,

Pull the drive shaft out of the
tube.

If the drive shaft has turned blue,
always install a new one.

– Coat the drive shaft with STIHL

gear lubricant 0781 120 1109,

12, before installing it in the

drive tube.

Apply the lubricant uniformly to the
drive shaft.

Never

pump lubricant

directly into the drive tube.

Push the drive shaft into the drive
tube until dimension "a" is
17 mm.

If necessary, apply slight pressure
to the shaft and rotate it slowly until
it can be pushed in to the specified
dimension.

Flexible liner

– Remove the drive shaft.

Use hook (1) 5910 890 2800 to
pull out the plug.
