SAFETY

7. Safety

Only qualified contractors should carry out the maintenance and
repair of this appliance.

7.1 General safety instructions

We guarantee trouble-free function and operational reliability only
if original accessories and spare parts intended for the appliance
are used.

DANGER Electrocution
Position the appliance in such a way that the control
mechanisms cannot be touched by a person in the bath
or shower.

CAUTION

Maintain the minimum clearances to adjacent ob-
jects.

Ensure that the power cable is not in contact with
any appliance components.

7.2 Instructions, standards and regulations

Observe all applicable national and regional regula-
tions and instructions.

8. Appliance description

8.1 Standard delivery

The following are delivered with the appliance:

— Feet

— One-way Screws

9. Installation

9.1 Installation location

— There must be at least 90 cm clearance between the appliance

and any combustible objects (e.g. curtains), walls or other
building elements.

— Never operate the appliance on unstable or uneven surfaces.

9.2 Fitting the feet

Only remove the two outer screws from the bottom of the ap-
pliance on the left and right.

Fit the feet to the bottom of the appliance in such a way that
they are inserted into the recess at the back of the appliance.

Secure the feet with the One-way Screws supplied.

9.3 Electrical connection

Observe the type plate. The specified voltage must
match the mains voltage.

10. Commissioning

To commission the appliance, insert the mains plug into the
power socket.

When switching on the appliance, as part of commis-
sioning as well as after longer periods of disuse, an
odour may be released for a brief period.

11. Troubleshooting

The power cable must only be replaced by a qualified contractor
using original spare parts supplied by us.

12. Appliance handover

Explain the functions of the appliance to the user. Draw special
attention to the safety instructions. Hand over the operating and
installation instructions to the user.
