Assembly of the connecting pipe
The connecting pipe can be adjusted individually. To do this,
the corrugated pipe from stainless steel has to be cut into the
appropriate length. For this purpose, please use a pipe cutter.
Check the pipe ends for impurities, deformations and the ab-
sence of burrs.
Please be aware that only the connecting pipe DN20
l = 15 m can be adjusted individually. Any other
corrugated pipe lines from stainless steel of the STI
programme will be delivered in fixed lengths.
In the next step, the components will be slided onto the pipe
ends according to the drawing alongside. Please pay attention
that the pipe will be pushed all the way through the clinching
ring into the fitting. Fasten the screwcap finger tight. After -
wards, the bolt nut has to be tightened by 3 1/2 to 4 turns with
appropriate wrenches.
Generally, the whole connection has to be verified for impervi -
ousness according to the recognized valid rules of engineering
after conclusion.
