5.1.3 Setting up the Freedomlift

For correct set up of the vehicle lift, the floor must comply with the requirements

specified in

Foundation

on page 26.

Ensure that the position of the chemical anchors is as prescribed in

Installing

the chemical anchors

on page 30

1. Unscrew the clamping blocks (2) of the transport frame (1).

The post’s centre of gravity lies outside the transport frame, on the side of

the guide piece. After the clamping blocks have been unscrewed, the post

will naturally want to tip over. Prevent this by placing a wooden beam (3)

under the guide pieces, for instance.
