4.7 Pre-Processing

Checklist

The following conditions are necessary to achieve successful

processing of the endoscopes and accessory types listed in the

Endoscope Quick Reference Guide

– ENDOSCOPE PREPARATION –

Endoscope and accessories were:

�

inspected and found to be in proper working order;

�

prepared for immersion;

�

successfully leak-tested;

�

manually pre-cleaned within 30 minutes prior to starting

processing cycle.

– PRIOR TO PROCESSING –

Debris screen
