Raising and Lowering the Carrier Using the Foot Pedal

WARNING — Pinching hazard

Pinch points are created during carrier operation.

l

ALWAYS keep hands clear when opening or closing the carrier.

l

In the unlikely event of an uncontrolled fault, the emergency stop button
can be pushed to cut power to the carrier and other motorized parts.

1.

Identify the foot-operated pedal. The pedal is
centrally-located on the front of the sonic
irrigator at floor level and is marked

LOAD

.

2.

Tap the foot pedal to enable carrier controls.
The carrier controls then appear on the display.

Note:

Carrier movement cannot be enabled
during a wash cycle or when the display
is the supervisor menu mode.

3.

Press and hold the foot pedal to move the
carrier. If the carrier is in it's lowest position
(closed) it rises up, if the carrier is fully open it
lowers. When the carrier is fully open or fully
closed, it stops. Press and hold the foot pedal
again to continue moving the carrier.
