IMPORTANT

The weight of a basket loaded with instruments MUST NOT exceed 20 kg
(44 lb). Excess instrument load should be set aside for the next processing
cycle.

5.9

Docking the Basket into the Tank

This procedure applies to all basket types compatible with the PCF ultrasonic
irrigator.

The basket should always be docked inside the tank before attempting to start a
wash cycle. Do not perform a wash cycle without a basket.

It is recommended to always inspect and clean the tank filter, and inspect tank
docking ports before docking the basket.

On the sonic irrigator, push the lid handle away
from you and then pull up on the handle to fully
open the lid.

Grip the filter and pull up firmly to remove it. After cleaning the filter, refit into
position in the tank.
