Xi Multi Basket

The Xi Multi Basket is designed for use ONLY with da Vinci EndoWrist Xi/X robotic
instruments. No other types of instruments should be used with this basket.

The Xi Multi Basket only accepts Xi hoses and luers. Hoses and luers from
other baskets are not compatible

.

The basket total capacity is 6 Xi/X instruments, which can include up to 2 Xi stapler
instruments.

5.7.1

Xi Multi Basket — Loading

1.

Inspect the basket. Make sure all flush ports and manifolds are clean and in a good
condition. See

Basket Care and Inspection

on page 33.

2.

The instrument tips should be open to allow for cleaning of all surfaces.

3.

Xi staplers can only be accommodated in
support slots adjacent to the long sides of the
basket, as shown on right. Xi instruments can
be accommodated all slots.
