D300XT Operator’s Manual

4.4. MT3 tap chuck × 19 mm with adapter

Dedicated for screw taps with sizes from M8 to M12 and from 5/16″ to 9/16″. Install

the chuck in the spindle. To cut threads in blind holes, use adapters with a clutch.

Requires an adapter that matches the size of the screw tap.
