The POWER TOOLS LINE of STARRETT TO BATTERY are manual machines
developed by the criteria of quality, safety, modernity and technology to fi nd
the user's needs, in according to the applicable technical standards.

The Band Saw

S1005

(fi gure 01) is a intended machine to cut different

kinds of fl at materials, such as wood plates, plastic and metal.Light and
robust it is capable of carrying out household and professional activities
while preserving safety and accuracy.

Able to execute cuts with different kinds of blades in different materials.
Furthermore, it presents feature of orbital action, which movement of the
cutting tool is composed of two directions: a movement in the vertical (up
and down) and a horizontal (forward and backward).

Another versatility of this model is the possibility of angular cuts, beyond
straight cutting.

Due to its ergonomic shape this machine has a comfortable anatomical
shape for the operator's hand.

By means of a quick-change system, the cutting tool can be replaced
easily, locking it in safe operating conditions.

Another feature found

S1005

is the control of strokes per minute by the

user. Just controlling the pressure on the Trigger Switch, that the strokes
vary proportionally to the touch.

A Work Lamp (LED) is installed and positioned to allow the user an
enlightened view in the work area.

To run this power tool, it uses a Rechargeable Battery LITHIUM - ION type.
