6.12 - Hydraulic system components and adjustments (optional)
The optional Hydraulic System for the Hércules 10000/SS, substitutes the Cardan
Transmission System, used to operate the distribution discs.
Whose components are installed as a factory standard.
IMPORTANT!
- The Optional Hydraulic System can only be used in tractors with pumps whose flow-rates
are above 50 l/min.
- For the System to operate normally, it is necessary to maintain the oil clean and have a
stable speed ratio: with the tractor pump at 50 l/min,the engine RPM should be above 1600 rpm,
and with the pump at 80 l/min, the engine RPM should be above 1100 rpm.
- The oil flow-rate adjustment valve, is factory set, thus the discs spin at 720 rpm (maintain
these settings to guarantee the proper system operation).
- The oil pressure filter, along with the oil, should be changed periodically, according to the
manufacturer’s specifications.

Due to various brands and models, it is necessary to adjust the length of the cardan in its first
usage.
6.11 - Positioning and adjusting the triple box
The operation of the triple box, which controls the distribution discs, has a specific setting
which needs to be maintained, so that the product distribution will not be jeopardized, this is in
regards to the positioning of the same, above the discs. The distance should be maintained at
100mm, from the disc center-line to the outer most edge of chassis, as shown on figure 33.
