(1) Turn off the printer and unplug it from the elec-
trical outlet.
(2) Remove the front cover unit to the procedure de-
scribed in item 7.

Note1: The cutter unit and the stationary knife must
always be replace at the same time.

2: Lubricate the cutter unit after re-placement.
(Refer to item2 of chapter 2.)
3: When assembling, be sure to always use a new
stop ring. Never reuse one.
4: When installing the upper guide unit, make
sure the BM sensor cable is not caught between
the platen holders.
