BOTTOM VIEW
Do not overtighten BUTTON HEAD BOLTS
(M6x1x35mm)(149) through the LEFT
BOTTOM SLIDING PAD(97) and into the
SUPPORT ARM(50L).

STEP 21:
There is an “L” decal on the LEFT SUPPORT ARM ASSEMBLY(50L), and an “R” decal on
the RIGHT SUPPORT ARM ASSEMBLY(50R).
With the SUPPORT ARM SHAFT(106) installed in the pivot of the LEFT SUPPORT ARM(50L), slide the
LEFT SUPPORT ARM(50L) into the gap between the ROTATING ARM BRACE(62) and LOWER ROTATING
ARM BRACE(63). Secure the LEFT SUPPORT ARM(50L) with BUTTON HEAD BOLT(M12x1.75x75mm)
(159), LARGE WASHERS(M12)(339), and NYLOCK NUT(M12x11.75)(190).
STEP 22:
There is an “L” decal on the LEFT BOTTOM SLIDING PLATE(97), and an “R” decal on the
RIGHT BOTTOM SLIDING PLATE(98).
Position the plastic side of the LEFT BOTTOM SLIDING PLATE(97) face up. Run the CARRIAGE
BOLT(M12x1.75x85mm)(80) through the LEFT BOTTOM SLIDING PLATE(97) and the LEFT SUPPORT
ARM(50L) . Place the SUPPORT WASHER(95) with the rubber side facing down onto CARRIAGE
BOLT(M12x1.75x85mm)(80) , then put on a LARGE WASHER(M12)(339) . Secure with but do not tighten
the ARM LOCKING KNOB(96) so the LEFT BOTTOM SLIDING PLATE(97) is attached but allowed to
rotate. Adjust the position of the LEFT BOTTOM SLIDING PLATE(97) to make its mounting holes align
with the holes on the LEFT SUPPORT ARM(50L) and secure with BUTTON HEAD BOLTS(M6x1x35mm)
(149) . Refer to the Inset drawing. Do not over tighten the BUTTON HEAD BOLTS(M6x1x35mm)(149) as
the LEFT SUPPORT ARM(50L) must be able to slide smoothly. Tighten the ARM LOCKING KNOB(96) to
lock the LEFT SUPPORT ARM(50L) in position. Repeat STEP 21 and STEP 22 to assemble the RIGHT
SUPPORT ARM(50R).
NOTE: To make the following steps easier, turn the HANDWHEEL(209) counterclockwise to the left or
clockwise to the right to raise the bench CUSHION(125). Next, pull the ADJUSTMENT KNOB(264)
to slide the CUSHION(125) back.
