4.1
Function
Area of application
The Series 8040/11-V30 installation switch is an explosion-protected device for
stationary mounting. It is used for controlling and switching lighting systems in hazardous
areas.
It is approved for use in hazardous areas of Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.
Mode of operation
The switching position is clearly shown by the 90° (60°) switch. This is an advantage if
the lighting system and the switch are housed in different rooms. The fluorescent rotary
actuator enables orientation if the lighting fails.
