BASIC SYSTEM OPERATION
TURNING SYSTEM ON:
Make sure the scale is free and clear of any obstructions and then press the “
TARE/ON/OFF
”
button to turn the scale on. When scale is ready, “
0.00
” will be displayed.
Kg/Lb FUNCTION:
Press the “
Kg/Lb
” button to toggle between lb, oz, lb-oz, or kg displayed weighing units.
The scale will remain in the last mode used unless manually changed. For example: If the last
weight recorded was in kilogram and the scale is shut down, the weight mode will be in kilogram
when the scale is turned back on.
TARE:
The tare function is used to subtract any additional weighed items (example: receptacle) from the
patient’s net weight.
MEMORY:
Press the “
MEMORY
” button to store the “last weight” for recall if needed. To view the last
stored weight from memory, press the “
MEMORY
” button again to return to the original value.
“
MEMORY
” will hold last stored weight until the memory is replaced with another stored
memory (the memory will not zero).
NOTE
: The “
MEMORY
” button will not store weight that is less than two pounds (one
kilogram).
HOLD ARROW INDICATOR:
The HOLD
►
arrow at the left bottom of the LCD display will at first flash while weighing. Once
weight has stabilized the arrow stays solid.
REWEIGHING (NEXT USE):
To reweigh the same or different patient, be sure the tray is free and clear of any objects. Press the
“
TARE/ON/OFF
” button to zero the scale. When “
0.00
” is displayed the scale is ready for use.
TURNING SYSTEM OFF:
The SRV930 scale can be programmed to auto-shut down at 120, 180, 240, or 300 seconds.
Pressing the “
TARE/ON/OFF
” button until the scale turns off will conserve on the battery life.
To change the auto shut down time press the “
TARE/ON/OFF
” button to turn the scale “
ON
”.
Press and hold the “
Kg/Lb
” button until the display reads “
UNIT
”. Press the “
Kg/Lb
” button
until the display indicates “
A.OFF
”.
Press the “
MEMORY
” button once. The display will indicate one of the following “
OFF, 120S,
180S, 240S, or 300S
”. Toggle the “
Kg/Lb
” to select the desired shut down time. Once selected,
press the “
MEMORY
” button to save. The display will revert back to “
A.OFF
”. Press the
“
Kg/Lb
” button and toggle through features until the word “
END
” is displayed. Press the
“
MEMORY
” button to save your changes, the display will return to normal mode.
