3D COMPRESSION INLET
USE, CARE, AND FEEDING OF YOUR SQUIRREL
The 3D Compression Inlet is an advanced and effective innovation,
however it does require some care and maintenance. Try not to store
your suit in a tightly packed configuration. Do not store your suit folded
tightly in hot conditions. For instance, the worst thing that you could do
would be to leave it crammed into your stashbag in a hot car for a few
hours. In the case of inlet deformation, massaging them into shape at
or above room temperature will help to re-form them.
ARM FOAM OPTIONS
Your FREAK 2 is shipped with 5mm black foam, which is inserted in the arms. We recommend
jumping the suit using this foam option. The FREAK 2 may be jumped without this foam, but your
leading edge will appear less smooth, and be less efficient in flight.
THE ”FREESTYLE” AIRFOIL CROSS-SECTION
The optional “Freestyle” foam is designed specifically for the FREAK series. The Freestyle foam
improves speed and glide performance, and makes transitions feel more agile and precise. Adding
in this enhanced leading-edge structure will make BOC and Riser access more technical. We do
not recommend using it for BASE jumping, or in any situation where a low deployment may occur.
