Connecting the Ink Supply

Ink and fluids are supplied to the Printhead with a Cartridge Ink or Bag Ink system. Normally, an

ink system (Cartridge or Bag) will be needed for each installed Printhead. However, one ink

system (Cartridge or Bag) can supply two Printheads if they are mounted at the same height.

ATTENTION:

Use only Squid Ink approved fluids for cleaning or flushing the

Nozzle Face. Use only the appropriate cleaning or flushing fluid for the specific ink

being used (see “Inks and Fluids” on page

133

ATTENTION:

Never operate the Printhead without ink. Doing so can cause

overheating and damage the Printhead, and will void the warranty.
