Remove the rear wheel and the rear derailleur from the frame. It should not be necessary to
remove the chain or cable/housing from the derailleur:

The derailleur hanger is removed using a T25 Torx tool on the external screw. When replacing
the derailleur hanger, be sure to apply medium strength (blue) thread locking compound to
