8. Turn your camera on and activate WiFi mode (refer to your camera’s
documentation to ensure your camera is correctly paired to your
mobile device). Connect your camera to your device using the GoPro
Connect or Garmin Virb apps.
Note: GoPro Hero 6/7 Black users- the 2.4GHz WiFi band must be
used when using the Squid Cast. You can select this by swiping down,
tap Connections>WiFi band >2.4GHz
9. Lightly grease one o-ring with the supplied silicone grease. Install into
the rearmost o-ring groove, marked in green on the diagram (Figure
5-note, your unit may be supplied with o-ring preinstalled). The o-ring
groove marked in red is not for use in the current configuration. See
section “O-Ring Care” for further information on o-rings.
