Please note the WebSetnet feature in Manager Assist will only operate if the handset(s) is using the
default login password.
Viewing the IP address of the PCS 58x/57x/56x/55x
To determine the IP address of a PCS 55x/57x/56x select the Favourites button
, then Settings and then
Phone Information (alternatively press the key at the bottom right hand side and then select Phone
Information). The IP address will be displayed at the top of the screen.
To determine the IP address of the PCS 58x press the Settings icon
five times. The IP address will be
displayed at the top of the Phone Information screen.
Viewing the IP address of a PCS 542
To determine the IP address of a PCS 542 select the Settings button button, press the Down arrow
to highlight Phone Info and then press Accept
. The handset’s IP address will be displayed at the top
of the screen.
Viewing the IP addresses via Manager Assist
A list of the IP addresses for each PCS 542
55x/57x/56x/58x can be viewed in Manager Assist by
selecting System Utilities and then IP Addresses.
Setting the IP Address and Network Configuration
When powering up a PCS 542/55x/56x/57x/58x for the first time a DHCP server is required to give the PCS
IP Phone an IP address and its network configuration. The handset can continue to use DHCP or can be
given a static IP address and networkconfiguration as follows:
Via Manager Assist
Firstly, note that this facility will only be available if the handset(s) concerned is using the default login
password.

WebSetnet.
