Hook all four hooks of the lifting cross
onto the malt pipe.

Lift out malt pipe

Using the gallow, the cable winch and
the lifting cross, carefully and slowly
pull the malt pipe out of the kettle
until the malt pipe hangs completely
out of the wort.
