Line Art CD Instructions
Before you begin accessing the line art images on this CD, we offer the
following as a guideline to help you select the most appropriate file type
for your specific use:
• Vector EPS files – Vector art files may be used for high-quality four-color
(CMYK) process, grey-scale or single-color printing. These files may be
reduced or enlarged in size for print, and will maintain high-quality.
• 150 dpi JPEG files – Low-resolution RGB files are suitable for web use, or
inserting into desktop programs such as Microsoft® PowerPoint or
Microsoft® Word. These files may be
reduced in size for print, but it is not
recommended that they be enlarged.
• 300 dpi EPS files – High-resolution files may be used for high-quality
four-color process or grey-scale printing. These files may be reduced in size
for print, but it is not recommended that they be enlarged.
( Please note
that the 300 dpi files are much larger, and will take longer to transfer and
load to your system.)
These files are designed to be inserted into many common programs. As
an example, when using Microsoft® Word, you can use the "Insert Picture
from File" function to select the appropriate image to be added to
your document.
These files will not open simply by "double-clicking" on the file. (They
were created by professional image editing software.)
