This section describes how to connect a standalone
QuadPlex
unit to:
A video source.
Up to four displays.
Your network.
Power supply.

Connecting the Source
Connect one of the following video sources to
your
QuadPlex
unit, as appropriate:
QuadPlex
QPX DIN:
Connect a single 8K
UHD, 4K UHD, or 2K/HD DisplayPort
source to the
DisplayPort IN
port.

Connect a single 8K
UHD, 4K UHD, or 2K/HD HDMI source to
the
HDMI IN
port. For DVI sources, you use
a DVI-to-HDMI cable or adapter.

If needed, you may use Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort adapters (p/n 520 12178; sold
separately) and/or Mini HDMI to HDMI adapters (p/n 520 12233; sold separately).

Use only DisplayPort 1.2 and/or HDMI 2.0-compatible “Premium Certified”, high-bandwidth
cables to connect the video source and displays.

Always press the latch on the top of
the DisplayPort connector when
removing the connector.
