Phonebook Configuration - Disabled
Disabled
As default, phone book configuration is disabled.
You can configure the server to retrieve phone book data using
LDAP server or by import of phone book data from a CSV file.
Phonebook Configuration - Imported CSV file
Imported CSV file
Enable this if you want to import phone book data from CSV
file.
Import
Browse for the CSV file to import.
Note
: The CSV file must contain correct format. For more
information, see
"Parameter Overview" on page 366
Encoding
Select the correct encoding for the CSV file. You can choose
between
UTF-8
,
ISO/IEC 8859-1
or
Windows-1252
.
Note
: The encoding depends on the software that was used to
generate the CSV file. If you use Microsoft Windows, you will
probably select Windows-1252.
Number fields
Enter the indexes of the columns containing dialable numbers.
Phonebook Configuration - LDAP
LDAP
Enable this if you want to configure the server to retrieve phone
book data using LDAP server.
Note
: Secure LDAP (LDAPS) communication occurs over port
TCP 636. LDAPS communication to a global catalog server
occurs over TCP 3269. When connecting to ports 636 or 3269,
SSL/TLS is negotiated before any LDAP traffic is exchanged. If
using secure LDAP (LDAPS), the necessary certificates must
be installed. For more information about CA certificates, see
"Configuring Certificates" on page 169

URI
Enter the URI of the LDAP server.
E.g. ldap://example.org (or ldaps://example.org if using secure
LDAP)
