ERIFICATION
The
Verde
arrays
feature
an
on
‐
demand
data
integrity
check
for
data
drives
configured
in
a
storage
pool.
The
check
scans
the
drives
for
data
corruption
and
corrects
any
errors
found.
Data
integrity
verification
can
be
run
on
a
single
pool
or
multiple
pools
simultaneously.
Notes:
The
transfer
speed
performance
of
the
data
path
is
reduced
when
running
a
data
integrity
check.
Data
integrity
checks
can
be
cancelled
but
cannot
be
paused.
If
you
cancel
a
data
integrity
check,
you
must
restart
the
check
from
the
beginning
if
you
wish
to
continue
scanning
the
data
drives
in
the
pool
for
corruption.
Use
the
following
instructions
to
perform
a
data
integrity
check.
1.
From
the
menu
bar,
select
Support > Tools > Data Integrity
Verification
.
The
Data
Integrity
Verification
screen
displays.
2.
Select
the
storage
pool
you
want
to
scan
with
data
integrity
verification,
and
then
select
Action > Start
.
3.
A
confirmation
screen
displays.
Click
Start Data Verification
to
start
the
scan.
4.
The
Data
Integrity
Verification
screen
displays,
showing
that
the
selected
pool
is
being
scanned
for
corruption.
The
screen
shows
the
estimated
time
until
the
scan
is
complete,
as
well
as
the
total
time
elapsed
since
the
scan
started.
5.
To
stop
the
scan
before
it
completes,
select
the
storage
pool
currently
being
scanned,
and
then
select
Action > Cancel
.
