3. COMMISSIONING
To commission the device, fold the burner cover plate downwards. Now
insert the protective pane in the supports provided.
Pick up the remote control handset provided. Start the device by pressing
the top button (see photo 6). The device will beep briefly, then the ignition
and pumping process commences. During the ignition process, white steam
may rise up. This is harmless and normal. After a short time, the flame
pattern should spread out and become evenly distributed.
4. TAKING OUT OF OPERATION
To shut down the device, press the top button on the remote control handset
once again. The flame pattern will then extinguish completely within the
next 30-40 seconds.
Note: A few seconds after the burner switches off, a red light switches on
(see photo 7). This signals that the burner is hot. While the red lamp is lit,
the burner cannot be restarted.
If ever the device is not operated for an extended period, please remove the
power cable from its wall socket.
