Step 1: Activate cellular service
Cellular service is required if you want to have photos delivered, regardless of whether you use GoWireless Premium
or GoWireless Auto. Cellular service enables the camera to send photos.
1.
Find the IMEI number on the inside of the camera or in the camera menu under SYS > Information.
2.
Find the ICCID number on the SIM card.
3.
Using a web browser, go to
www.att.com/buyasession
.
4.
If you want to explore the rate plans, click on Compare Rate Plans > Tablets and Other Mobile Devices. The
most popular plans for GoCams are $25.00/90 days/1 GB data; $45.00/6 months/2 GB data; $75.00/12
months/4 GB data; or $14.99/30 days/250 MB data. (Disclaimer: All plans and rates described above are
subject to change without notice. All plans mentioned are available in November 2016. There is no guarantee
that these plans or rates will be available in the future. You may not see the longer-duration plans until you add
your device.)
5.
From the main page, either Get Your Pass (Establish New Prepaid Account) or log in to your existing AT&T
DataConnect account. Note: Your account password must be 6 to 32 characters long with at least one number,
one letter, and one special character (@#$%!^&).
6.

Step 2: Set up the camera
1.
With the power switch OFF, insert batteries into the battery compartment. Use 12 (recommended), 8, or 4
(emergency, left 2 columns) 1.2-1.5v AA batteries.
The following types of batteries can be used:
•
High-performance alkaline
•
Lithium
•
Rechargeable Ni-MH
2.
For additional battery life, you can connect the camera to a 6V external battery (optional, with or without solar
panel) that is designed to be used with trail cameras.
3.
Insert an unlocked SD card (up to 32 G) into the SD card slot. Refer to the card symbol on the case for proper
orientation.
4.
With the rubber gasket between the base of the antenna and the antenna jack on the top of the camera, screw
the antenna onto the antenna jack. The rubber gasket must be in place to prevent leaks. Make sure the
antenna is screwed in all the way but be careful not to over-tighten it.
Step 3: Connect the camera to the AT&T™ Cellular network
1.
Slide the power switch to the SETUP position. The camera will enter Preview mode.
2.
The screen will display Searching network…, then AT&T will appear at center top of the screen and the signal
strength bars will show in the top right corner.
3.
