Measurement data can be grouped into categories. For example, a category named
Vitals
might consist of the measurements
HR
,
RR
, and
NIBP (Systolic/Diastolic/
Mean)
.
Touching either the far left or right of any graph places the cursor at that time in the
graph and shifts the graph to show more data between the cursor and the edge of
the graph. Repeated touches continue to scroll the graph in the selected direction.
A typical Trends view is shown below:

Tabular trend—Measurement names show in the left-most column of
the table. The time that each measurement value was collected shows
in the top row of the table. Refer to

Graphical trend—Measurements and their units of measure, if
necessary, are listed along with the color used to display them. The x-
axis shows a timeline, and the y-axis shows numeric values. Related
measurements can share a y-axis (for example, SYS, DIA, and MEAN
pressures). Refer to

The trends can be expanded with the plus signs (+) and collapsed with
the minus signs (-).

Time Selector—Shows a window which lets users select the time range
represented by the graph. The duration is based on the currently
selected graph duration. The user can select a time range anywhere
within the last ninety-six (96) hours.
