Noninvasive Blood Pressure (NIBP) Monitoring
Note:
Use only cuffs specified by Spacelabs Healthcare. Other cuffs may
adversely affect performance and measurement accuracy. Refer to the
élance
Vital Signs Monitor Supplies and Accessories data sheet (P/N
061-2193-00).
Blood pressure measurements can be affected by the position of the
patient, the patient's physiological condition and other factors.
There are no hazards associated with using noninvasive blood
pressure equipment during defibrillation or high-frequency
electrosurgery, because both the cuff and cuff tubing are made of
non-conductive materials.
Oscillometric pressure measurements determined with this device are
equivalent to those obtained by a trained observer using the
cuff/stethoscope auscultation method, within the limits prescribed by
the American National Standard, Electronic or automated
sphygmomanometers.
