Calibration of Product Thermocouples

 

From the active Maintenance screen you can access the calibration screen. 

 

Each thermocouple and the shelf inlet and outlet RTDs should be placed in a NIST 
traceable ice bath or each thermocouple jack should be provided with a millivolt 
source at the thermocouple plug. Click on the Auto-calibration box. 

 

 
To calibrate the machine, place in ice bath/millivolt source and press the Auto-
calibration button. The system will zero itself out. The operator can manually dial in 
the machine by clicking on the corresponding box and entering the count value. This 
is a dimensionless number from -4095 to 4095. After the values are entered, one can 
hit the Manual Calibration button and the system will accept the values. After 
calibrating, one may save to the disk to load at a later date.
