PIX 250i User Guide and Technical Information

Powering

The PIX 250i features an advanced powering system with PowerSafe technology. By default, the PIX 

250i will operate from the DC power source. When the DC power source is removed, PowerSafe 

circuitry will activate. The PIX 250i will display a warning, stop any active recordings, finish writing 

files, and shut the PIX 250i down. The PowerSafe Battery will power the PIX 250i during this time. 

This feature ensures that files will be protected even in the event of unexpected power loss.
