Solution
I
n “Configuration” mode:
The LED for the Control Unit (UG)
blinks continually.
Faulty wiring
No communication between
the Control unit (UG) and the
1
st
sensor
The Link Units (UR) are not all
set to Termination Unit
Disconnected cable
Check the wiring on the
Control Units (UG) and on
the Termination / Link Units
(UT/UR)
The configuration switch for
the detector cable is not in
the right position.
(A or B: see §4.1)
Switch the Link Units to
Termination Units.
Consult the MAXIBUS III Hub
history.
In “Detection” mode:
The LED for the Control Unit (UG)
blinks.
Detector cable connected between a UG and a UT:
The Termination Unit is on
“UR”.
No communication between
the Control Unit (UG) and the
1st sensor.
Move configuration switch for
operating mode to “UT”.
The configuration switch of
the detector cable is not on
the right position.
(A or B: see §4.1)
Detector cable connected between a UG and a UR:
The Link Unit is on “UT”.
Communication problem on
the Link Unit
No communication between
the Control Unit (UG) and the
1st sensor
Move configuration switch of
the operating mode to “UR”.
The selection switch for type
of cable is not on the right
position.
(see §4.2)
The configuration switch of
the detector cable is not on
the right position.
(A or B: see §4.1)
When the Control Unit (UG) is
closed, it emits a long beep
Control Unit (UG) is in
“Configuration” mode
Move
the switch to “Detection”
mode (§5).
When the power is turned on for
the Control Unit (UG), it emits a
long beep
Low battery power (<3.85V)
Alarm auxiliary input.
Confirm that the solar panel is
not masked.
Check wiring and settings
