a) When the optional XDBK-105 is installed and maintenance menu item M397 PORT CONFIGURATION is set to “VTR mode”.
b) Not displayed when the unit is in 23.98P mode.
c) When the optional XDBK-106 is installed, and maintenance menu item M22 sub-item AI422/AI420 is set to “enable.” Not displayed when the system
frequency is set to 59.94P or 50P.
d) When the optional PDBK-202 is installed.
Basic menu operations
Setup menus are displayed on the video monitor screen or
on a PC monitor connected to the MONITOR connector.
To display the setup menu
To display a setup menu, press the MENU button.
The currently selected menu item is displayed in reverse
video.
Buttons used to change settings
Use the following buttons to change setup menu settings.

SD CHARACTER V-POSITION
Set the vertical position of the timecode and other text character information
output on the COMPOSITE OUTPUT MONI/2, SD-SDI OUTPUT1 2
(SUPER), and SD-SDI MONITOR/OUTPUT2 2 (SUPER) connectors, and of
the text character information displayed on the front panel display when it is
used as a video monitor, relative to the setting of Setup menu item 003
CHARACTER V-POSITION.

RECALL SETUP BANK-1
Set to “on” to recall menu bank 1 to replace the current menu settings.

Set to “on” to recall menu bank 2 to replace the current menu settings.
