Customizing Your VAIO Computer
Changing the Performance Setting
You can change the memory configuration that affects power consumption during Normal mode.
To change the performance setting
1 Click Start , point to All Programs , and click VAIO Control Center .
The VAIO Control Center window appears.
2 Double-click Power Management and Performance .
The Performance window appears.
3 Select Memory bus: 400 MHz Priority is given to saving power .
By default, Memory bus: 533 MHz Priority is given to performance is selected.
4 Click OK .
5 At the confirmation prompt, click Yes .

To activate the change, you must restart your computer.
