Connecting an External Display

If you want to connect a computer display (an analog monitor), plug one end of the display's power cord (1) into your
display if necessary, and the other end into an AC outlet.

Plug the display cable (2) into the monitor port (3)

on the computer.

If you want to connect a projector, plug the projector's power cord (4) into an AC outlet.

Plug one end of the display cable (5) into the monitor port on the projector, and the other end into the monitor port (3) on
the computer.

Plug one end of the speaker cable (6) into the headphones jack on the projector, and the other end into the headphones
jack (7)

on the computer.
