Setting up your language
It is important that you select the correct keyboard settings during the Setup of Windows for your machine.

At first boot, click
Next
in the
Windows 2000 Professional Setup
wizard window.

In the
Licence Agreement
window, accept the Licence Agreement and click
Next
.

To change your keyboard layout in the
Regional Settings
window, click the lower
Customize
button.
There are two
Customize
buttons: please select the lower one.

In the
Input Locales
tab, click the
Add
button in the
Installed input locales
text box.

Select your keyboard settings from the
Input Locale
drop-down list in the window that appears.

Click
OK
.

In the
Regional Options
window, click the
Set as Default
button.

Click
Apply
to apply the changes, then click
OK
.

Continue your Windows setup until it is finished.
To change the country and language settings into your language as soon as Windows has been restarted,
proceed as follows:

, choose
Settings

Control Panel
.

In the
Control Panel
window, double-click the
Regional Options
icon.

In the
General
tab of the
Regional Options
window, change
Your locale (location)
.

To change the language of the menus and dialog boxes, select your language from the drop-down list.
