Chapter 2  Preparations

If you wish to change the date and time, press the ENTER button. If not, 
press the CANCEL button.

• Refer to the separate “AIT Library: Operating Instructions” for details on 

how to set the date and time.

Notes

• The date and time are not updated while the AIT library is turned off. We 

recommend that you set the date and time every time you start the AIT 
library.

• If you do not perform an operation within 5 minutes, the unit will 

automatically switch to the status screen.

Once the AIT library has started, the status screen shown below appears.

Turning On the Main Server

Open the front panel on the main server, and press the POWER button.

The following message appears on the LCD display, and the bootup 
process begins. (It will take several minutes to start.)

Once the main server has started, the main server hostname and IP address, 
and the IP address for the local network (the IP address for the LAN1 and 
LAN2 connections to the User LAN, and the local network IP address) 
scroll across the display, as shown below.
