Selecting a flash mode

Set the mode switch to STILL, and press

( ) on the control button repeatedly to

select a flash mode.

Each time you press

( ), the indicator changes as

follows:

No indicator (Auto):

Based on the lighting

conditions, the camera will decide if there is enough
light, and will use the flash accordingly (factory setting).

(Red-eye reduction):

Flash mode is set to Auto,

and the red-eye reduction operates if the flash strobes.

(Forced flash):

The flash strobes regardless of the

surrounding brightness.

(No flash):

The flash does not strobe.
