Getting Started

Base phone

Read this first

Before you use your phone, you must first set it up. Here’s a quick way
to set up your phone:  Steps 1 to 6.

Step 2   

(pages 8 to 10)

You need to do three things to set up the
base phone, including finding the best
location for the base phone.

Step 3  

(pages 11 to 12)

Insert the battery pack into the cordless
handset and charge it for more than 12
hours.

Step 4  

(pages 13 to 16)

Enter the area code to use the Caller ID
service.

Step 5  

(pages 17 to 21)

Set up the “Caller ID with call waiting”
service, the Long Distance Saver function
and the voice mail service.

Step 6  

(pages 22 to 23)

Finally, set the day and time.
