Projector Status
To access the Status pane
for the Projector, tap
Menu
, tap
Status
and
then tap
Projector
Components
.
The Projector pane
appears which displays
status indicators for
major components in the
projector sub-system.
They are:
• Power
• Peltier
• DVI Signal
• Ballast
• RT Clock Battery
• Board, Lens, Electrical
When Projector is selected from the Status Menus the
PROJECTOR status pane is displayed.
The STATUS button shown to the right
appears on all SMS Controller windows and
provides immediate access to the Status
Selector/Warning indicators. When any Warning
condition exists the STATUS button will appear RED as
shown. To view which system area requires attention, tap
the
STATUS button
and the Status Selector/Warning
buttons appear.

attention, tap the
STATUS button
and the
Status Selector/Warning buttons appear. As
illustrated to the right, the Projector
Selector/Warning indicator will be RED
when an error condition exists. To view the
Projector Status, tap the
Projector Warning
icon.
Power
The SRX-R320 projectors are equipped with 3 signal
processors. They are:
• DVI
The signal processor for externally originated DVI-
D signals.
• HIF
The signal processors for externally originated
HD/DC-SDI signals.
• MB
The signal processor for Media Block originated
signals.
Peltier

- Thermal Devices
Power to the thermal control devices associated with the
Red, Green, and Blue (R,G,B) imagers is monitored and
the status is shown on this screen.
DVI signal, Ballast, RT Clock Battery
Indicates the status for specific areas on the projector.
• DVI signal
Indicates that the format of an externally applied
DVI-D signal has been verified against the
configuration set using the SRX Controller
application.
• Ballast
Indicates the status of operating conditions of
devices associated with the Lamp Ballast.
• RT Clock Battery
Indicates the status/health of the battery for the Real-
time Clock located in the projector.
Board, Lens, Electrical, AIr FIlter, Filter
Duct
Indicates the status of additional subsystems in the
projector.
The system monitors the number of hours of use of Air
Filters in the system enclosure. The timers for replacement
of these filters are manually reset to zero (0) at the time of
replacement.
Connection and Battery
“Connection” indicates the status of physical and logical
network connections between the Media Block and

1.A Peltier device, is a solid-state active heat pump which
transfers heat from one side of the device to the other side
against the temperature gradient (e.g., from cold to hot),
with consumption of electrical energy. In the SRX-R320,
this is used to control the imager temperature.
