4-2-2. Aperture Diameter Adjustment

Since the iris blades remain a little in the optical path when the lens is set to the open F value, the aperture diameter changes when zoom-

operated. Therefore, adjust in the procedure below.

Equipment

• Adhesive bond (B-10)

• Iris Open Fixture

• Caliper

1. Preparation

1)

Remove the 2 group lens block from the focus cam tube block and assemble parts shown in Fig. 4-2-8 in it.

2)

Set the zoom to 105 mm.

3)

Attach the maximum aperture jig, and open iris .
