Notes
• The maximum continuous recording time is
approximately 6 hours for XAVC and
approximately 13 hours for AVCHD.
• The [FRAME RATE] setting cannot be changed
while recording. To change the setting, first stop
recording.
• The time code is recorded in [REC RUN] mode
• The Slow & Quick Motion is canceled
automatically when the ON/STANDBY switch
is set to STANDBY (

), but the [FRAME
RATE] setting is retained.
• You cannot record sound.

Tip
• You can assign this function to an ASSIGN
By recording with a frame rate much higher
than the playback frame rate, you can
record images to be played back as super
slow motion images. Images recorded with
the Super Slow Motion function will appear
smoother than slow playback of images
recorded at normal speed.

Notes
• The supported memory cards vary depending on
the file format (p. 38).
• When recording with the Super Slow Motion
recording function, your camcorder may
continue recording for some time
(approximately 6 minutes at most) after you
press the record button to stop recording. Do not
operate your camcorder while the [REC]
indicator is flashing on the LCD screen, and
wait till it turns to [STBY].
• After you press the button to stop recording,
your camcorder continues recording till it
completes writing of the minimum unit of data
(0.5 seconds of replay time).
• Super Slow Motion recording is not supported
in XAVC QFHD.
• The shutter value may not be displayed
correctly when recording in Super Slow Motion
if [SHUTTER DISPLAY] is set to [DEGREE]
(p. 160).
