Battery Error
A battery recognition error has occurred.
Replace the battery pack.
HDD Error
An HDD malfunction has been detected. This error may appear due
to sudden shocks. However, if it appears during normal use, replace
the HDD cartridge as it may be degraded or damaged.
HDD Error
HDD degradation has been detected. Replace the HDD cartridge as
soon as possible.
SxS Error
An error occurred during SxS memory card read/write.
Internal Error
A hardware malfunction has been detected.
Update Error
An authentication error occurred with a firmware update file.
Download the firmware update file again.
Message
Cause and remedy
Battery Near End The battery pack charge is low.
Replace the battery pack as soon as possible with a fully charged
pack, or connect the AC adaptor.
Battery End
The battery pack is almost empty. The unit will automatically turn off
shortly.
Replace the battery pack immediately with a fully charged pack, or
connect the AC adaptor.
Battery is not
Enough to Copy
The specified operation may not complete due to low battery pack
charge.
Replace the battery pack as soon as possible with a fully charged
pack, or connect the AC adaptor.
Backup Battery
END
Contact your Sony representative and request a backup battery
replacement.
Too Many Copies The maximum number of copy operations (256) that can be
performed for one partition has been exceeded.
Turn off the unit and replace the HDD cartridge, or delete any
unnecessary data on the HDD cartridge.
No Data to Copy
The inserted SxS memory card does not contain valid data for
copying.
Insert another SxS memory card, or cancel the operation.
