Section 2

Periodic Inspection and Maintenance

This section describes periodic inspection and cleaning methods.

2-1. Periodic Inspection

Inspect and replace parts regularly to maximize and maintain the performance of the unit.

2-1-1. Digital Hours Meter

The operating time or the number of operation times of the unit is totalized and displayed by the Utility
software. Use the value of the digital hours meter as guideline for periodic inspection and replacement.

Note

Install the Utility software beforehand in the personal computer (PC). For details, refer to the Operating
Instructions.

Digital hours meter display

1. Connect the unit to the PC and run the Utility software. (Refer to the Operating Instructions.)
2. Click [Hours Meter] from the Device Information menu in the tree display area (left frame) of the

Utility software.

Information to be displayed

Note

Stepping of the counter depends on the recording/playback rate and operating environment.
